Mr. Eyre was selected to attend advanced trauma training at Rush Chicago. He trained with the US military and other NATO allies in advanced trauma techniques, gunshot and penetrating trauma injuries in cardiothoracic, general surgery, and emergency surgery departments.

Mr Eyre’s invite to the specialist training was due to his winning a military award to attend the Military / NATO training exercise, which he added,  ‘will add value to the T&O department and the team’s skillset’.
