Ankle Replacement Surgery

I have recently had my second Total Ankle Replacement under the care of Mr Jason Eyre, the first one, my left was 5 years ago, I was 75 at the time. I had excellent care from the whole team, my recovery was straightforward and I was soon back to travelling and fully enjoying life. I was shocked that after the surgery I had very little or NO pain, even from the outset. I had my Right Total Ankle Replacement 13 weeks ago, once again wonderful treatment from the whole team, I am 90% back to my normal, getting about, pain free, good mobility and looking forward to travelling again. On both occasions I was very much involved in the planning of my surgery, Mr Eyre was always happy to discuss the situation with me and my wife, even seeing me in Outpatients when I had more questions to ask. He was like a friend, cheerful but always very Professional.
